MATERIALS
SHEEP
SKIN
Is
a natural product, specially tanned skin for industrial use, combed hair of
height 18 to 24 mm. So far, no artificial material has been invented with such
absorption capacity as genuine sheep hair. Rollers made of sheep hair are used
on outer and inner surfaces. They are suitable for applying all kinds of
water-soluble paints.
WARNING: Rollers made of sheep hair are not suitable for applying alkaline materials (lime, bio-paints) and paints made of organic melting materials.
NAYLON
Threads are made of polyamide, of height 20 mm. The tops of the fibres are not woven. Naylon rollers have a high paint absorbency and apply paint to surfaces with high efficiency. Naylon rollers are used on outer and inner surfaces. They are suitable for mixed and latex paints.
ACRYL
Threads are made of polyamide, woven into fibres of height 13 or 20 mm. The tops of the threads are curled. Acryl rollers have a high paint absorbency and apply paint to surfaces with high efficiency. Rollers are suitable for use on outer and inner surfaces and are used for mixed and latex paints.
VESTAN
Threads are 100% acryl. The fibres are 20 mm high, densely curled, very enduring and firm. Vestan is used in the production of the HOBBY programme.
PERLON
Threads are 100% acryl. Fibres of height 10 mm are densely woven. Perlon rollers are used for applying "non-soluble paints" (Diva), bio-paints and concentrates.
VELOUR
The
material is woven from genuine wool. The thin and dense fibres are 4 mm high.
Velour rollers are used for applying all sorts of varnishes (also parquet
varnish), waterbased paints and other protective and basic covering paints.
